OUR FOUCUS

Diversity in S.T.E.A.M. Occupations

The average income of African Americans in Missouri is $36,000. As of most recent numbers, 1 out of every 4 Black Missourian live below the poverty level. The average income of an individual with a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math is $69,000 a year.

The fight that we have continued to fight since my great grandfather Owen Whitfield lined upon the side of the highways in tents during the brunt of winter, have been for economic equality. These programs help close that gap of economic disparities and provides a foundation for a better family life style and blue print for success for generations to come.
